AFRO Wellness Haircut Days powered by LJJ Barbershop is more than a haircut series of events — it is a collection of community-centered wellness experiences created to spark honest conversations around mental health, substance use, healing, and the realities facing the Black community.
In the trusted and familiar space of the barbershop, we are inviting Black women, men, youth, families, and community members to come together for connection, reflection, and meaningful dialogue. This is a space to talk about the things we often carry quietly — stress, grief, pressure, identity, addiction, trauma, and the need for culturally grounded support.
AFRO Wellness is intentionally creating change by meeting the community where they are, reducing stigma, opening doors to support, and reminding people that healing does not have to happen in silence.
